The Gujarati Samaj of Metropolitan Washington is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1978.

Since its creation, the Gujarati Samaj of Metropolitan Washington has a rich history of hosting and sponsoring community events and shows around the DC Metropolitan Area.

Today, the Samaj consists of over 30 members and hosts around ten events a year.

The purpose of the organization is to encourage Gujarati culture in the new generation and spread the message of our beautiful Culture and our rich heritage within other communities.
